Hannover Fairs Turkey’in 12 – 15 Mart 2020 tarihlerinde düzenleyeceği WIN EURASIA 2020 fuarında sergilenecek Türkiye sanayisinin ilk 5G senaryoları, fuar öncesi Siemens, Mitsubishi Electric, MCS, i2i Systems, SICK, Universal Robots UR, Schunk, IQ Vizyon, Merlicon, Oppent, Siskon, Simtek ve Trio Mobil’in katıldığı imza töreniyle tanıtıldı. i2i Systems’in yeni geliştirdiği yerli ve milli 5G şebekesinin ilk defa tanıtıldığı törende, 5G Arena alanında uygulanacak “5G for Smart Manufacturing” scenarios were also demonstrated. In the “Integrated Digitalization and Industry 4.0” scenario, i2i Systems’ live 5G network was tested.
The “CodeMaster Industry 4.0 Application”, designed by MCS Group, used this network to communicate through IIoT-based technologies with a Mitsubishi Electric robot, a Schunk robotic gripper, and the Siemens MindSphere cloud solution. Within the scope of the scenario, the entire lifecycle of a product could be monitored in real time from the moment a work order was created. In another scenario utilizing i2i Systems’ domestic 5G technology and showcased in collaboration with SICK, Universal Robots UR, and Schunk, real-time interaction between humans, robots, cloud systems, and sensors was demonstrated.
Highlighting the goal of supporting joint initiatives that will contribute to the transformation of various industries through 5G technologies, Hannover Fairs Turkey Managing Director Alexander Kühnel said, “The use of a domestic and national 5G frequency in integrated 5G scenarios shows that Turkey takes its National Technology Initiative seriously. At WIN EURASIA, we will bring together live 5G scenarios covering a wide range of topics, from autonomous systems and human-robot interaction to real-time heat mapping and production tracking, from dark factories and artificial intelligence to deep learning and cloud systems.”
Schunk Turkey and Middle East Country Manager Emre Sönmez stated, “In the IoT era, we integrate into systems that enhance efficiency with our products, where condition monitoring, process monitoring, and communication are carried out directly at the component level. We are excitedly anticipating the increase in commercial capacity that 5G applications will bring to our lives, especially in manufacturing environments where they will enable greater flexibility, speed, and productivity.”
ENOSAD Vice President Dr. Hüseyin Halıcı added, “Considering Turkey’s technological infrastructure in fields such as information technology and automation, we can say that domestic companies are, to a certain extent, ready for the transition to Industry 4.0. As ENOSAD, we believe that digitalization and the transition to Industry 4.0 should be among Turkey’s top priorities. We would like to express that we are ready to cooperate with both our national and international members in achieving this goal.”
