Siskon participated in InterSupply 2026, one of the leading international meeting points for the tobacco industry. Held at Messe Dortmund in Dortmund, Germany, from September 15–17, 2026, the exhibition brought together tobacco manufacturers, technology providers, and industry professionals from around the world. Siskon welcomed visitors at Stand 3.F03 in Hall 3.
As tobacco manufacturing becomes increasingly connected, intelligent, and data-driven, Siskon continues to develop solutions that address the industry's needs for connectivity, traceability, efficiency, and operational visibility by combining its expertise in industrial automation, software, and manufacturing technologies.
One of the solutions highlighted by Siskon during the exhibition was Tobacco Machine Communication (TMC). TMC is an OPC UA-based standard jointly developed by the OPC Foundation and a working group of tobacco manufacturers. The standard aims to unify fragmented machine communications caused by different protocols and data formats under a common information model within tobacco production facilities. Through its TMC solution, Siskon aims to bridge the gap between machines, systems, and people while delivering measurable value through connected automation and data-driven manufacturing technologies.
Throughout the exhibition, the Siskon team shared its expertise in digital transformation and software solutions for tobacco manufacturing. Discussions focused on industrial communication, automation, and traceability challenges, creating opportunities for future collaborations and partnerships.
