Siskon Automation and Software participated in the TÜSİAD SD2 2019 Digital Transformation in Industry Program. This program aims to strengthen the industrial digital transformation process and support the digital technology supplier ecosystem by connecting those who utilize digital technologies in production processes with providers of digital technology solutions; it promotes the capabilities of digital technology suppliers and fosters technology production, while showcasing best-practice examples that inspire digital transformation planning. As the first comprehensive program dedicated to digital transformation in industry, TÜSİAD SD2 brought together 18 industry-leading technology-using companies with SME-scale technology suppliers in 2019.
Following the application and preliminary screening stages of TÜSİAD SD2, the 18 technology-using companies and the shortlisted micro, small, and medium-sized technology suppliers convened in September for the Technology Integration Program (STEP). During the STEP event, matches were established between the technology-using companies and the technology suppliers that had passed the preliminary screening. These matched pairs will collaborate in the coming period to prepare solution proposals. The success stories resulting from this process will be shared with the public at the "Digital Transformation in Industry Success Stories Ceremony" to be held at the end of the year. Siskon Automation and Software, a DEPARK-based company, was selected as the technology provider for Kordsa’s project titled “Autonomous Tool/Product Mounting and Dismounting System” within the scope of the TÜSİAD SD2 2019 Digital Transformation in Industry program. Having reached the finals among more than 500 technology development companies in the 2018 TÜSİAD SD2 program, Siskon Automation and Software had previously been chosen by Yaşar Holding as the technology firm for its project in the “Data Collection and Monitoring Systems” category.
